Indigo dyeing is a type of natural dyeing, a printing and dyeing process that uses plant or mineral natural dyes to dye fabrics blue. It is often dyed into different patterns using techniques such as tie-dyeing, clamping, batik, and paste dyeing.

Indigo dyeing is one of the oldest dyeing methods in the world. Did you know that in China, the origin of indigo dyeing can be traced back to more than 3,000 years ago. It has been recorded as early as the pre-Qin period.

| Instructions for washing and storage of indigo products |

• Prepare warm water at 30~50℃ and add neutral detergent, put the cloth in and soak it for 5-10 minutes.
• Particularly dirty areas of the fabric can be gently scrubbed with your hands.
• For general washing, just wash gently in water, do not rub or twist hard.
• After washing the fabric, the yellow-brown pigment will be dissolved, and then the yellow-brown water will be poured out.
• Finally, wash with clean water 2-3 times. When the water turns blue, please stop washing to prevent the dye solution from dissolving and fading.
• Just dry it in a ventilated place, try not to expose it to direct sunlight. If exposed to sunlight, please turn the back side out and do not expose it for more than 30 minutes.

• Do not use a brush for scrubbing
• Do not put the fabric in the washing machine

| Save method |

• After washing and drying the fabric, you can iron it with an iron, put it into a paper bag, plastic bag or ziplock bag, and place it in a dark place (such as a wardrobe).
• The oxidation of the fabric and air will dissolve the yellow pigment, and the product will appear slightly yellowish. You can wash it again according to the above washing method, and the blue luster will be more vivid and durable.
